Glass types
PVC and Aluminium windows are glazed with double or triple layer glazing units. Customer can select technical parameters of glass including heat transfer coefficient U [W/m²K] and sound transmission loss Rw [dB]. Vjačka offers superb parameters of thermal protection of glass and window as a standard. Without any surcharge, windows are made with double layer glazing CLIMAPLUS filled with argon with heat transfer coefficient of Ug = 1,1 W/m²K. It is of course possible to reach even better heat protection parameters using special thermal protection glazing. It is possible to use also special safety glass, noise protection glazing, coloured glass or mirror glass.
Thermal protection glazing
PVC windows can be fitted with double or triple glazing units with even better thermal protection parameters. Triple glazing has heat transfer coefficients of Ug = 0,6 W/m²K when filled with argon or Ug = 0,5 W/m²K if filled with krypton. Heat loss through window can also be lowered using thermally non-conducting double glazing frame Swisspacer in grey, white, brown and beige colors.
Heat Mirror
Heat Mirror reflects heat back to its source - to the outside in the summer when you want to reject it and to the inside in the winter when you want to retain it. Heat Mirror is a low-emissivity coated film suspended midway inside an insulating glass unit. The result is a triple unit with two airspaces without the weight of triple insulating glass and with far superior insulation. Heat Mirror is fully transparent to light and blocks ultraviolet radiation. It is also possible to use multiple Heat mirror foils to reach thermal insulation parameters of Ug = 0,4 W/m²K, that is better then a triple glazing.
Safety glass
Safety glazing VSG (also called Connex) is a glazing, where foil is stretched between two glass boards that are bonded together. Such a glazing prevents the glass from shattering when being hit. The foil between two glass boards has almost unlimited lifespan as it is not exposed to air. Foil does not affect glass color or transparency. We recommend using the safety glass for windows on ground floor and other crime threatened places, but also in areas, where shattered glass could cause injury (swimming pools, children rooms, interior glass walls). Security glass is offered in the whole range of categories including bulletproof one.
Noise reduction glass
Although sound insulation parameters of standard glass are sufficient for most buildings, special noise reduction glazing can be used in places where noise level is high (airports, highways, etc.). Noise reduction glazing can significantly lower the sound penetration. In most cases the bonded security glazing with PVB Silence foil is used.
Patterned and colored glass
We offer double glazing units also with patterned, colored or mirror glass in many patterns, types and colors.
